Terms of Use & Privacy
Terms of use and privacy policy: all tools run entirely in your browser, files are never uploaded, no accounts, minimal analytics.
1. What this site is
Free browser-based engineering tools (validators, converters, generators) with optional paid services. The free tools are provided as-is, free of charge, for both personal and commercial use.
2. Your files never leave your device
All free tools process files entirely inside your browser (JavaScript/WebAssembly). There is no upload endpoint: your CAD models, robot descriptions, lockfiles, and any other files are never transmitted to us or any third party. You can verify this in your browser's network inspector — converting a file generates no network request carrying its content.
Practical limits follow from this design: processing capacity is bounded by your device's browser memory. Very large files (e.g., CAD assemblies in the hundreds of megabytes) may fail to process — such failures happen locally and expose nothing.
3. Privacy
- No accounts, no cookies for the free tools.
- We use privacy-preserving, cookie-free page analytics (page views, referrers) to understand which tools are useful.
- If you join the newsletter or a waitlist, we store the email address you give us for that purpose only, and you can unsubscribe at any time.
4. No warranty — verify critical outputs
Outputs are generated by software and provided without warranty of any kind. For engineering artifacts (URDF, MJCF, meshes, inertia values, SBOMs): verify results in your target simulator or toolchain before relying on them in safety-relevant or production contexts. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability arising from use of the free tools is excluded; where it cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid for the tool you used (zero for free tools).
5. Not legal advice
The CRA Readiness Checker and related compliance content summarise Regulation (EU) 2024/2847 with article-level citations for orientation. They are not legal advice, and regulatory classification depends on facts of your product and on pending implementing acts. Consult a qualified professional before making compliance decisions.
6. Acceptable use
Don't attempt to disrupt the site or use it to violate others' rights or the law. Automated access to the free tool pages is fine within reason (they're static); wholesale copying of the site's content or code is not permitted — all rights reserved unless a page states otherwise.
7. Changes
These terms may be updated; the current version is always at this URL. Material changes to paid-service terms will be notified to affected customers.
